Architect narrates how police officers extorted N103K from him along Benin-Ore expressway

An architect has narrated how police officers extorted #103k from him along Benin-Ore expressway.

He said it all happened on his way back from Lagos to Benin when he encountered some police personnel popularly known as SARS at Okada Axis on the Benin Ore express way.
They stopped his car and asked him to come down, respectfully he came down as they introduced themselves to him as the Anti Crime Special Force, he appreciated them for their positions to check out for crimes on the high way not knowing he was their next target for extortion.

They took him off the express road and took him to a shaded place where thy forcefully collected his phone and asked him to open with his finger print which he did after he was been threatened.

Furthermore, they checked his phone only for them to ask him to put his password to his bank app which he did under duress. They told him he was going to give them some money form his account and there was a POS operator standing with them. They deducted a sum of one hundred thousand naira, as if it was not enough the POS operator added his charges of three thousand naira. Unknowingly to the policeman operating his phone, he mistakenly took a picture of himself.

He concluded by saying, he doesn’t believe extortion from the police is still on in the country
